Job Title: Floor Sales Associate
Responsibilities
Work closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. Associates responsibilities include demonstrating outstanding customer service and selling skills, keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise, assisting in display of merchandise or organizing the selling floor and stock areas.
Essential Functions
- Greet Customers
- Answer Customer Questions/Direct Customers to Product
- Bag and Count Product
- Stocking Shelves
- Manage Financial Transactions
- Pulling Orders
- Maintain Sales Floor/Backroom
- Maintain Store Facilities/Bathroom, Vacuuming and Mopping
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Essential Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, sitting, reaching
- Ability to climb up and down ladders
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Employment Standards
- Read at a level sufficient to successfully perform required duties
- Understand and follow written and oral instructions
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Follow directives from Supervisor
Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Must possess and maintain a valid class “C” California driver’s license
- Ability to operate forklift(OSHA forklift training provided)
Experience
- One year in sales or general labor required
Compensation/Benefits
- Starting rate $17/hour, Compensatory with Experience, Spanish Speaking a Plus
